Dear Readers,
Well, it’s official. The Northern Neck Networking group (see https://www.northernnecknetworking.com/ for more information) knows how to work it!
In the comfortable wine annex at Kinsale Market, 25-30 attendees from Montross, Hague, Kinsale, Colonial Beach, and beyond gathered to exchange business cards, hear about each other’s work, and enjoy dinner and drinks from Tommy and Darla, the hosts of the evening. The common threads among all the folks presenting their organizations were a love of helping people, and an appreciation for the peace and beauty of life in the Northern Neck.
That’s not all we got up to, though! There was electrifying live acoustic music and a raffle. With all this camaraderie and good energy, folks felt very free to share, and the John Dos Passos Institute is enjoying the results: new newsletter subscribers, referrals to community members who want college and career advising, and future partnerships with Westmoreland Public Schools and the Westmoreland County Museum.
